Emails can be helpful or noisy — you control which chamber activity gets an email alongside the in-app notification.
Change your email preferences
- Open Notification Settings.
- Flip the toggles on or off for each category.
- Changes save automatically — you'll see "Preferences updated successfully!" confirm the change.
The three email toggles
- Event Notifications — reminders and updates for events you've RSVP'd to.
- Chamber Activity — new posts and conversations in the chamber feed.
- Direct Messages — alerts when someone DMs you and you don't read it within 15 minutes (default: ON).
A few things to know
- Group messages don't send email alerts no matter what. Only one-on-one DMs do.
- In-app notifications keep coming. Turning off a toggle only silences email — the notifications feed still shows everything.
- Urgent account emails always come through. Password resets, billing failures, and security alerts are transactional and not controlled by these toggles.
