Your sign-in method (email, Google, phone) and password live under Sign In & Security — separate from your public profile. This is where you change how you log in or add a backup method.
Open Sign In & Security
- Open Security Settings.
- You'll see:
- Connected Accounts — what you're using to sign in (email, Google)
- Change Password — set or update your password
Common tasks
- Add a password — if you only use email links or Google, add a password as a backup login.
- Change your password — requires current password + new (minimum 8 characters).
- Link or unlink Google — connect Google for one-click sign-in, or disconnect it if you no longer use that account.

Impersonation notice
If you're viewing the site in impersonation mode (which only admins can do), the Security tab is disabled — admins can't change someone else's password through this tab.
