How to Share Screenshots with Support

Capture shortcuts for Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android. Then attach in chat or email.

Screenshots are often the fastest way to show us what you're seeing. Here's how to grab and share one quickly on each platform.

Capture a screenshot

Mac:

  • Full screen: Cmd + Shift + 3
  • Portion: Cmd + Shift + 4, then drag over the area
  • Window: Cmd + Shift + 4, then Space, then click a window

Windows:

  • Full screen: Print Screen key
  • Active window: Alt + Print Screen
  • Portion: Win + Shift + S, drag over the area

iPhone:

  • Side button + Volume Up at the same time

Android:

  • Power + Volume Down at the same time (varies by device)

Share it with support

  1. Open support chat from the chat bubble on any page.
  2. Click the paperclip/attach icon in the chat composer.
  3. Select your screenshot.
  4. Send. See What File Types Can I Upload to Support Chat? for supported formats.

Make your screenshot useful

  • Include relevant context — the error, the button, the URL in the address bar.
  • Exclude sensitive info — credit card numbers, passwords, names of non-involved people.
  • Crop tightly — we only need to see what's wrong, not your whole desktop.
