What File Types Can I Upload to Support Chat?

JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC, and PDF. Max 10 MB per file.

When you attach files to a support chat, we accept common image and document formats. Here's what works and what doesn't.

Accepted file types

  • Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, HEIC
  • Documents: PDF (most common for invoices/receipts)
  • Other: depending on your browser, most standard formats are supported

Size limit

  • Max: 10 MB per file
  • Recommended: under 2 MB for faster uploads

Common issues

  • HEIC images (from iPhone) usually work but sometimes fail on older browsers. If yours fails, convert to JPEG: on iPhone, share the photo and choose "Save to Files" to get a JPEG.
  • Very large screenshots can exceed 10 MB. Crop to just the relevant area before uploading.
  • Unusual formats (e.g., .tiff, .heif, RAW camera formats) aren't supported — convert to JPEG or PNG.

Can I upload videos?

Not directly in chat. If you need to share a video (e.g., a screen recording), upload it to Google Drive or Dropbox and paste the shareable link in chat.
